- Fewer crowds (most places)
- Experiencing holidays in new settings and observing cultural differences

Why I Love Traveling in the Spring
- Long, luxurious and dramatic walks in the rain
- Sprigs of wildflowers sprouting about, perfect for photography
- You can watch growth in a new place and see what it takes for a city to come into bloom again
- Access to fresh spring ingredients and newly reopened farmer’s markets
- It’s finally warm enough to open the windows again – a nap in a room with open, unscreened windows feels like quiet luxury

Why I Love Traveling in the Summer
- Longer days mean lazy evenings with no rush
- Swimming holes, lakes, rivers, pools
- Fields and the countryside in the summer feel romantic and endless
- I personally love the stickiness that comes with no AC in foreign countries – sleeping in your underwear is another quiet luxury for me, as I am always cold
- My birthday is in July, and any trip close to it feels like a present just for me

Why I Love Traveling in the Fall
- Seeing the leaves change across mountains and trails feels like magic
- I naturally pair the fall with new things – trying new coffee, spices, and food
- You can visit somewhere and return in the fall, it’ll feel like a completely different place
- I always tend to pick up new jackets and sweaters in the fall, as I am never quick to let go of the summer heat, and naive to when fall actually starts – which is how I accidentally wore a robe all around Argentina
- Fall, in my experience, has the best and most interesting festivals around the world
