Thanks to Britt and Sierra on this one! Would also love to add that Britt bought me a kite, little garden gnomes and sidewalk chalk to help contribute to the list. Thanks to Ms. Britt, I will be able to accomplish the following in the next few weeks:

  • 76. Fly a kite
  • 54. Put a gnome in the front yard
  • 72. Make a chalk mural on the driveway

Amazing.

But on to the wine-tasting. We ended up at a new wine cafe, which turned out to be really incredible. If you’re ever in the Fort Bragg area, I highly recommend the “Wine Cafe” in Hope Mills. Here’s the link to their Facebook page.

Their owner, Ray, went over all of the wine cafe rules, but pretty much, you have a reloadable card (doesn’t expire) that you insert into a card reader. It tells you your balance, and then it’s $1 or so to taste different wine from around the world. Not bad, considering a lot of places only let you taste 5 for $5. He let me video a little in there too, so I’ll post something about that too. I also wrote to Oprah, which was #70.  I haven’t posted the letter, but here’s the link to my YouTube update.

Also in the process of #29. Paint a painting for the living room . I’m painting a portrait of Dave, thanks to Britt Mosher and her fabulous acrylic paints. Anyone ever seen Wedding Crashers? Yes, it is in that fashion, but less nude, and more of Dave as a centaur. I can’t explain why my husband wants these things, but I can say I love him a little more for it. Ha!

“It was a gift, Todd… I’m taking it with me.”
