Crossed another one off the list this weekend. #79. is done! 

I chose to make 2 of Julia Child’s recipes at the same time instead of just one. A late lunch today consisted of her Soupe Grantinee des Trois Gourmandes (Onion Soup) & Quiche aux Fruits de Mer (Seafood Quiche). This was the final result:

                                        

The center pie is the Seafood Quiche, with the Onion Soup on the sides. I made everything for my friends Heather and Adam at their place in Wilmington. They both took about 2 hours to make total, and actually, were very complimentary to each other. It was really rainy today so it was the perfect lunch. 

I was surprised at how good they turned out…. look what happens when you take your time and follow directions, right?
