My friend Heather and I made our first batch of beer! It actually was pretty easy. All you have to do really is combine a bunch of ingredients such as hopps, water and yeast. Most of what you need is provided in a kit. The one I used was called Mr. Beer… you can find it on amazon.com. Now we wait. It’s going to be 1-2 weeks before we can bottle it, and then it will take 1-2 for carbonation. Just in time for Dave! I decided to add “Make Beer” to list upon a recommendation from my friend Sarah. Also, I’ve always really liked beer (Heineken and Corona are my favorite) much more that I enjoy liquor or wine. Maybe on my list with Dave, we’ll add going to a brewery. I’d love to take a behind the scenes peek.
