I went for a long walk in Little Washington, North Carolina, with my boyfriend Chase and his mom.
The town was sleepy and quiet. It reminded me of Stars Hollow, the fictional town from Gilmore Girls. As I walked the tree-lined streets, I was reminded of this bookstore owning fantasy.
I mean, look at it.
Bill's Hot Dogs lived up to it's reputation. And I'm not even into hot dogs. I liked the hot, sweet, mustardy sauce.
We ate them at a picnic table by the lake.
Coffee was had, of course. Chase found a little spot down Water Street. We walked there from downtown, joking around and pointing out all of the pretty little houses.
The Coffee Caboose was started by two best friends. One of them had inherited the building, and thought it would be fun to make coffee.
It was a short little trip. I liked the boats. We pointed and laughed at all of the funny names, walking down the pier.
