I love to stream movies and tv shows. I really do. When I’m writing or working, I like having some kind of noise in the background. Usually, it’s an old episode of Friends, or a movie I’ve seen a million times.

But I’ve grown to resent watching anything at home with other people. Specifically, guys. Not because they’re mean or have bad taste in movies, but because for some reason, they interpret Netflix and Chill as Netflix and Ask Melissa A Million Questions About Her Movie Preferences.

I swear I’m easygoing. Start playing Ghostbusters or Wayne’s World, and I’m yours. I don’t need every streaming session to be like a screening at Tribeca.

Nevertheless, it turns into something like that. I drew a comic (my first one!) to depict the struggle of streaming a movie or tv show with another person.
