In the not so far past, there were only two places you could sell or buy anything antique or thrift. That was on eBay on weekdays, and on weekends, you would probably hit the streets headed to your local flea market.

Today, there are numerous thrift shops across the internet. Some sellers even host their own. Then there is Etsy, which is literally giving eBay a run for its money as the top marketplace for thrift and vintage shoppers and sellers alike.

Below, we look at the top 7 places to find vintage glasses online.

Poison Apple Vintage

In my search for vintage drinking glasses on Etsy, Poison Apple Vintage stood out with the biggest collection. And from the numerous 5-star reviews the shop has, Karen and Angie Armolt are clearly doing a stellar job with their merchandise.

The store has been on Etsy since 2010 and sells anything vintage including toys and jewelry.

Grannys Box

With a name like that, you can rest assured that granny set aside some of her vintage drinking glasses to pass on to her lucky customers. Well, to be fair, Grannys Box is run by two very youthful women, Anastasiya and Mariya, and they sure know how to name a vintage shop – no doubt.

Theirs is a vintage Christmas ornament and country rustic home décor shop. The two friends love vintage collectibles but their husbands don’t allow them to keep them all – so they are happy to pass some to you.

Judys Junktion

From smoked tumblers to pineapple low ball glasses to silver wine goblets and copper coffee mugs – all vintage – Judys Junktion has it all. They specialize in vintage home décor and Judy says she enjoys curating vintage items for her customers.

I love that in her “About Us” she includes family photos including those of her dogs, each with a story, and shows us behind the scenes of where she makes the vintage magic happen. If that doesn’t endear you to her store, I don’t know what will!

The Dusty Old Shack

Elizabeth Holfman describes her store as “A store full of vintage treasures and upcycled art.” True to that, The Dusty Old Shack is a treasure trove of vintage items other than drinking glasses. This Etsy store’s range of items varies from drawer knobs and handles, vintage lighting, to vintage kitchen and serving cutlery.

ThriftChi

This is one of the best vintage stores I came across on eBay. Thriftchi is a small family owned business based out of Pennsylvania. Their unique antiques and glassware are sourced from local auctions and estate sales. For them, their goal is to offer a piece of Pennsylvania country to the World.

The variety of vintage drinking glasses on the store is simply outstanding and any thrift shopper and collector are guaranteed to find something they fancy - I did - if only I could buy it.

Lost World Plant Co

Lost World Plant Co is another hidden gem in the world of vintage drinking glass shopping. The store sells rare, unique vintage collectible vintage glasses among other items including cards and books.

Best of all, the store offers international postage from the UK on the majority of their items and they only charge at cost, no extra.

Vintage Collections 2015

Just like the name suggests, Vintage Collections feature a wide variety of collectibles. It’s one of those places where you find one-of-a-kind vintage drinking glasses.

Some of the best vintage glasses I found in their store were a 1900’s antique octagon bubbles engraved amber glass tumbler from Holland and a 1930’s unique design engraved aqua blue glass carnival bowl from Japan.

Lastly

Both Etsy and eBay host stores with tons of vintage drinking glasses up for sale. That said, Etsy seems to be creeping into eBay’s territory and it looks like more vintage sellers are setting up shop on Etsy. However, both marketplaces have more than enough to go around.
