Movies like Midnight in Paris and Amélie paint Paris as some kind of artist wonderland.
For the most part, that's true. But Paris is slow to reveal it's quirks and charm. However, once you're in the thick of it, there are so many wonderful neighborhoods, containing little shops, fromageries, bakeries, and museums to explore. You'll always leave Paris with a story to tell.
