I love fried chicken. Before I moved to North Carolina, I didn’t eat it much. Quickly after moving to the south, I discovered all the wonders of fatty, decadent treats such as fried green tomatoes, cheesy grits, and freshly made biscuits.
(Hey, I can even make biscuits now, too!)
New Orleans needed to be a culinary adventure. I started with gumbo, and ended with a shrimp po-boy, with fried chicken, beans, and rice stuck right there in the middle.
